Charlie Plummer

Beginning his career in Hawaii’s hospitality and wine distribution industries, Charlie developed an appreciation for the role wine plays in creating memorable experiences long before joining Napa Valley’s renowned wine community. His customer-first approach and passion for education laid the foundation for a career dedicated to representing some of California’s most celebrated wineries.

Over the years, Charlie has held leadership positions with an extraordinary collection of prestigious producers, including Hess Collection, Sebastiani Vineyards, Merryvale Vineyards, Paul Hobbs Winery, Château Montelena, and DANA Estates. Across each chapter of his career, he has specialized in luxury sales, strategic partnerships, trade education, and cultivating lasting relationships with collectors, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and hospitality leaders around the world.

Today, Charlie serves as Global Director of Sales for The Vineyard House, where he works alongside founder and 2nd generation vintner Jeremy Nickel to help guide the international growth of the Oakville estate. He oversees domestic and international sales while representing The Vineyard House at premier wine festivals, collector dinners, trade tastings, and culinary events. His work helps share the story of one of Napa Valley’s historic vineyard properties with wine enthusiasts across the globe.

Beyond sales leadership, Charlie is widely recognized for his commitment to mentorship, sustainability, and community involvement throughout Napa Valley. Drawing on decades of experience across the luxury wine industry, he continues to champion family-owned wineries while fostering meaningful connections between wine, food, and hospitality.
