At Pahlmeyer, Napa Valley intensity is elevated through a vision rooted in ambition and precision. Founded in 1986 by Jayson Pahlmeyer, the winery was inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux, with a goal of creating similarly structured, age-worthy wines from Napa Valley fruit.

From the beginning, Pahlmeyer has focused on sourcing grapes from high-elevation vineyard sites across Napa Valley, where lower yields and extended ripening contribute to wines of concentration and depth. These mountain-grown conditions play a central role in shaping the winery’s signature style.

Best known for its proprietary red blends, led by Cabernet Sauvignon, Pahlmeyer crafts wines that emphasize structure, richness, and long-term aging potential. Each vintage is built through careful blending, balancing power with precision.
