From the beginning, Pahlmeyer has focused on exceptional vineyard sites throughout Napa Valley, particularly mountainside vineyards where rocky soils, lower yields, and extended growing seasons naturally produce fruit of remarkable concentration and complexity. These dramatic sites have become the foundation of the winery’s distinctive style.

Today, under the direction of winemaker Katie Vogt, Pahlmeyer crafts Cabernet Sauvignon, proprietary Bordeaux-style blends, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and limited bottlings that emphasize precision, balance, and a profound sense of place. Careful blending and thoughtful winemaking allow each vineyard to contribute its own character while creating wines with both immediate richness and exceptional aging potential.
