At Limerick Lane Cellars, history is not simply preserved, it is cultivated with every growing season. Located on the northeastern edge of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley, the estate is home to some of the region’s oldest vineyards, including century-old Zinfandel vines and historic mixed plantings that continue to produce wines of remarkable character and individuality.

The vineyard benefits from warm afternoons tempered by cooling Pacific marine influence, creating an ideal environment for grapes to develop full ripeness while retaining freshness, balance, and natural acidity. Many of the historic vines are dry farmed and deeply rooted, allowing them to naturally express the site’s distinctive soils and the unique conditions of each vintage.

Best known for its old-vine Zinfandel and Rhône varietals, Limerick Lane approaches every harvest with a vineyard-first philosophy, allowing each block to reveal its own personality before careful blending in the cellar. Rather than pursuing a uniform house style, the winery embraces the subtle differences that each growing season brings.

The result is a portfolio that reflects more than a century of farming, capturing the history, resilience, and unmistakable sense of place that have made Limerick Lane one of Sonoma County’s most respected estate wineries.
